Established since 1971 and situated in Warwick the heart of England, SPI Europe with its 45,000 sq. ft. factory specialises in the computer assisted design and manufacture of replacement Fuel Tanks for modern motor vehicles, coupled with a complete range of replacement body panels and chassis parts for Land Rover Series III and 90/110, Range Rover to Discovery. To compliment the Land Rover range SPI Europe also produce and offer an extensive selection of seating and trim available in various colours and designs.

All tooling is manufactured in-house, with each individual tool and die being specific in its production to ensure a perfect end product for each and every range. It is by maintaining the policy "design in the required quality at the tooling stage", SPI Europe have become internationally recognised as market leaders in the field.

Offering a guaranteed immediate and Worldwide Distribution to all customers, SPI Europe ensure that all orders are dispatched promptly, incorporating the use of their own modern fleet of vehicles with a complete facility to load containers for export - maintaining a close working relationship with numerous freight forwarding companies.

With the extensive operation of CAD/CAM and general computer controlled production employed throughout the process of manufacture, SPI Europe have been able to respond quickly and efficiently to mounting sales orders and adapt easily to constant market fluctuation, whilst always maintaining their primary objective of customer satisfaction.

Product commences, with CNC Guillotining, followed by CAD/CAM Turret Punch facility - ensuring a constant supply of parts to all sections within the factory.

 

SPI Europe take enormous pride in their press potential, boasting and excellent press capacity up to 1,000 tonnes, encompassing both single action double action facility in both mechanical and hydraulic variables. Pressing of Fuel Tanks is simplified by the use of a 400 ton double action mechanical press.

Welding capacity spans from welding of the very smallest of components to larger projects manufactured, such as a complete replacement land rover chassis.

 

 

The entire Fuel Tank programme is totally controlled in-house, commencing with the pressing, though the assembly and filter pipe manufacture. Each Tank is then tested to British Standards , following by full degrease, paint and oven bake programmes. The complete process being computer governed ensures upmost flexibility, guaranteeing immediate despatch.
